Job Requirements About the job:
The Lonny Graphic Designer is chiefly responsible for laying out the digital monthly magazine which behaves, for all intents and purposes, like a print magazine. So the core responsibilities revolve around working with the editorial (and to some degree the sales department) on laying out the magazine in a timely fashion. But since the Lonny.com also has good old fashioned html web-based content, the position will likely involve some design work outside the issues. We’re a technology-driven media company so an interest in web design at the very least is helpful.

About you:
You’re a true design nerd with a passion for technology. You have a deep understanding of typography for both digital and print media (where they converge, where they differ) and are comfortable crossing over between media types while designing for the strengths of each. You have a history of solving a variety of design challenges in your portfolio and can handle a system with many moving parts and short deadlines.
You think it's great to work hard and play hard and you live by the motto. When friends describe you, “great sense of humor” and “extremely intelligent” are usually phrases that come up first. You approach work with a positive and flexible outlook and absolutely love design.
