Job Requirements Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and completing the necessary tasks to create and prepare high-quality content for the various media channels used by the brand. Key responsibilities include contributing to print and digital editorial strategies; managing editorial and production schedules across various platforms; generating content ideas for print and Web, and managing daily editorial content development activities that may include writing and/or editing on various levels. In addition, you will direct the development of templates, style guides, and other work tools to facilitate the efficient generation of content and transmission of best practices.

Responsibilities:
Regularly confers with management to contribute to the editorial strategy; reviews production schedules, generates content ideas, and communicates departmental status and needs.
Manages the daily editorial content development activities including, but not limited to, individual employee work assignments, freelance activities, coordination with the production team, and conversion of content concepts into material useable on multiple media platforms.
Contributes brand content by writing, interviewing, facilitating, commissioning, directing, or in other ways causing content to be created.
Maintains positive professional relationships with authors, industry experts, and other internal and external contacts related to the generation and preparation of content.
Provides content within the limits of the operating budget; manages expenses within budget.
Directs the development of templates, style guides, and other work tools to facilitate the efficient generation of content, and the preservation and transmission of best practices.
May manage all documentation for freelance writers, including license agreements, exemption forms and W9s.
Contributes to the development of workplace metrics to enable better use of resources and improved ability to evaluate the efficacy of new products, tools, services, and media options as they are available.
