Job Requirements The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the world’s premier global think tank, is seeking a Database Coordinator to join the communications team in Washington and champion the institution’s international constituent database.

The customer relations database is the core of Carnegie’s marketing and communications initiatives. The Database Coordinator will play a central role in helping staff to fully use the database to plan, execute, and measure external outreach efforts. Responsibilities will include ensuring the database contains current and accurate information, responding to user inquiries regarding data changes, and assisting in the development and delivery of the curriculum for CRM training.

In addition, the Database Coordinator will oversee the database goals for all of Carnegie’s five global centers and be the point person for supporting global communications strategy with data analytics. This is a hands-on role that will directly interact with the communications team and international research staff.

Requires 2-4 years of related experience. Previous database experience required, preferably in a role responsible for data integrity. Previous experience with CRM software, Microsoft Access, or SharePoint preferred. Ideal candidate will be a quick learner and flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills, a tenacious attitude toward data integrity, attention to detail, and an interest in foreign policy.
