Job Description:
This thinker/doer works with the account management team, planning department, clients and creative teams to develop unique and strategically appropriate media approaches, including the exploration of venues (sites, creative technologies, etc.) that utilize emerging technologies pertinent to our clients' brand.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Aids in the creation of client media objectives and strategies and oversees all planning and buying activities; manages projects every step of the way
Creates and presents strategic interactive media recommendations to internal staff and clients
Buys and negotiates digital media placements
Provides creative analysis and recommendations to improve media performance
Determines what media opportunities strategically and objectively suit any given client brand; offers alternatives
Constantly researches new market technologies and innovations that affect media/site planning and buying and provide solutions for clients
Maintains relationships with media representatives to uphold business partnerships, give account updates and brief industry trends
Negotiates best price and media placement for clients as well as negotiates/resolves media discrepancies with websites
Negotiates partnership contracts
Supervises and monitors media schedules and contracts with outside media vendors
Responsible for creating media-specific documents such as RFPs, media plans / presentations, objective / strategy decks, POVs and other related documents
Skilled with syndicated research (ComScore, Nielsen @Plan) as it relates to the online world
Assists in collaboration with accounting department to develop a streamlined approach to online invoicing
Provides research support during development of Objectives & Strategies and plans (@Plan, Media Metrix, Nielsen-NetRatings, AdRelevance)
