InvestmentNews is seeking a digital project coordinator who will support and enhance many of our key digital products and initiatives. This is an ideal position for an individual who is seeking exposure to the growing number of opportunities developing within the field of Journalism 2.0.
Specifically, the digital project coordinator will work directly with InvestmentNews’ director of digital strategy and data, as well as the online editor, on the following areas:

• Providing the InvestmentNews editorial staff with regular traffic and analytics reports on web content and traffic sources
• Coordinate InvestmentNews’ editorial social media accounts and distribute relevant links, messages and content that will develop a consistent and vibrant social community
• Update and maintain key InvestmentNews online Data Centers and rankings tools
• Support the creation and distribution of reader surveys, and participate in the analysis of data collected
• Assist online editors with construction of multimedia, including photo galleries and video
• Support online editors in the development of site section fronts and special reports

Requirements:

• One to three years of experience in a professional environment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Some experience working with a content management system
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• The ability to learn quickly and the desire to multi-task
• A passion for the media business
• BA/BS Degree (Journalism or related field preferred)
