Sounds True, a multimedia publisher based in Boulder, Colorado seeks an experienced Account and Foreign Rights Representative. Sounds True is dedicated to personal transformation and spiritual awakening and publishes audio learning programs, books, DVDs, music, and online courses.
Knowledge & Skills:
? The ideal candidate will be a goal-focused, seasoned sales professional, with strong industry contacts and several years of experience selling to trade, specialty, and mass market accounts.
? Experience in managing foreign licensing process, from interest to contract to advance payment, manage royalties, and work with authors.
? Good working knowledge of the publishing business and the ability to translate account shifts/trends to the publishing team.
? Must be analytically minded, able to create key sales reports and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
? Work with the sales team to create account specific promotions and coop advertising
? Manage backlist selling
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
? Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
? The flexibility required to work in a small company
? A minimum of 5 years of Sales experience in the publishing industry is strongly preferred
? Ability to Travel
? Position will be based in Colorado
