Job Requirements The Production Assistant is a member of the Digital Media Services team and is responsible for collating and organizing content for Sotheby’s digital platforms and ensuring that it remains fresh, engaging and accurate. The Production Assistant reports to the Senior Producer of Digital Media Services and will work closely with local Marketing and Editing teams as well as Production counterparts in New York, Hong Kong and London.


Responsibilities:
• Manage, coordinate and edit assets from key stakeholders in the company (Marketing, Design and Editorial teams) across a variety of distribution channels: sothebys.com, mobile site and Apps, emails, videos and employee portal. Content will include:
o Publication of e-catalogues for auctions
o Translated content
o Slideshows and audio components
o Information on Department Pages
o Blogs
o Videos
o Creation and evolution of email campaigns to promote: sales, videos, events, special promotions and new site functionality.
o Homepage placements and linking

• Contribute to the scheduling and on-time delivery of sale-related and editorial content across all digital platforms and be responsible for its implementation.

• Work with the Video Production team to upload local video and distribute through appropriate channels.

• Work with IT to test new content, products, and development fixes to ensure its readiness for live site.

• Work closely with all members of the digital media services department to ensure a collaborative approach is taken to all tasks.

Qualifications:
• The candidate needs to be highly organised, diplomatic and adaptive, with the ability to work calmly and professionally under pressured, time sensitive deadlines.
• A positive attitude with the ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail is critical.
• The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working with a Content Management System.
• Passionate about the ways that digital media will continue to revolutionize information distribution and interaction in the arts-related sphere.
