Job Requirements Prestigious provider of investment research for over 75 years is looking for a bright, seasoned marketing consultant to work with top management to restructure our current Marketing Organization. The Company is developing an amazing suite of digital tools and products that will be ready for our customers in the summer of 2013.

The new and expanded Marketing Department must be capable of promoting, supporting and developing new Sales initiatives, Digital Products and Direct Marketing that are moving rapidly and concurrently. The Company has been in the Investment Research Publishing business since the Great Depression and has an immediate need for rapid advancement in the marketing area that is inclusive of process, procedures, and culture.

The consulting position has the potential to become a permanent team member of the company in a capacity to be developed.

Responsibilities:

• Explore current organizational approach.

• Create clear plans for transitioning positions and responsibilities.

• Develop job descriptions and solicit talent, internally and externally, through interviewing and other proactive methods.

• Knowledge of both Retail and Institutional Financial Customers

• Run organized formal interviews requesting candidate projects for use in evaluation.

• Hire/transfer talented, motivated, creative individuals.

• Document current work flow and structure that exists in Marketing.

• Inventory and evaluation of third parties that work with the Company’s Marketing

• Inventory of Software of any type currently used in Marketing and provide suggestions for improvements.

• Develop consistent workflow for the team that is transparent to the rest of the organization.


Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in Marketing

• 7+ years in Marketing Management

• 5+ years in the Financial Industry

• Proven experience in restructuring marketing departments to perform efficiently and support the growing needs of the organization.

• Working and leadership knowledge of Web, Mobile, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Service and Social Networking.

• Understanding of SEO, SEM, CMS

• Familiarity with full spectrum of digital marketing.

• Working knowledge of Visio or a similar software product.

• Strong understanding of modern motivational techniques

• Ability to design a scalable organizational structure that provides for coverage(overlap) within the group.

• Meet and document feedback and recommendations from all departments, specifically all members of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service.

• Exceptional organization and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding the day-to-day demands on a marketing department.

• Clear knowledge of the types of marketing projects.

• Ability to define and set marketing goals with a clear vision of future business prospects.

• Only technically proficient candidates will be considered.
