||The Senior Manager will perform a wide range of duties including development of client programs, strategic planning, staff development and financial management. This position will serve as a key liaison among client, account teams, and agency management.
Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients.
Demonstrate excellent presentation skills that effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others
Demonstrates full range of communications knowledge and utilizes rolodex of relationships to achieve clients’ business goals
Ability to spot digital trends and insights and share with teams in order to mobilize, develop, and motivate
Ability to create and present program recommendations and sell into clients when appropriate
Develop programs and collaborate effectively with teams. Use metrics and analytics to build business case, provide insight and counsel to clients
Active participant in seeking new business opportunities, the pitching process, and networking
Drive effective implementation of projects, identify appropriate resources, and delegate work appropriately. Manage projects, deliver highest quality work on time and on budget, and provide timely progress reports
Proficiency in writing and editing materials including client press releases, byline articles, correspondence, blog, social media content and reports
Stay abreast of trends and client competition
Provide ongoing strategic guidance to clients, anticipate needs, issues and trouble shoot problems
Manage account financials including, client billing, purchase orders, supplier invoicing expense reports and time entry for self and team; ensure team billability and account profitability. Contribute to management of client budgets
Work with top tier media including proactive pitching and relationship management
Educate self and others on agency resources and capabilities. Understand and activate H&S and Ketchum network effectively
Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others. Actively participate in and organize brainstorms, connect with creative resources, inspire and motivate team members
Manage performance drive accountability for self and others
Communicate clear, progressive direction to junior staff. Day-to-day direction of junior level team members including delegation, delivering feedback, and project management
Grow and retain talent by providing formal/informal feedback and coaching. Utilize talent management tools. Identify and drive participation in training
Exhibit effective interpersonal relations. Develop internal and external network of contacts for a competitive client advantage, new business, and talent attraction for agency.
