New York Cruise Lines is based at Pier 83 on the Hudson River, and operates the iconic Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, NYC's original sightseeing cruise and World Yacht, one of the premier operators of waterborne dining and event facilities in New York and is looking for a highly motivated, super creative, detailed individual to help drive our online content program. Everyday aboard our ships, terabytes of information is conveyed and captured. Your job is to shape it and convey it out to the world (oh yeah, you will have to capture and cajole it too). Specific job responsibilities include:
* Generate high value content that improves customer awareness of World Yacht & Circle Line Sightseeing's Offerings
* Distribute content across earned and paid and owned media channels
* Write copy for sales collateral including case studies, white papers, video scripts, one-sheets
* Create blog posts pertaining to World Yacht & Circle Line products, news, and industry insight
* Develop and manage editorial calendar
* Establish workflow for creating, publishing, and repurposing content across various channels
* Measure impact that content has on customer acquisition, and retention

Requirements
* 3+ years in content/editorial marketing, including at least 2 years of travel, tourism or hospitality marketing
* Preferred background in social media, publishing, or advertising
* 4-year college degree preferably in Marketing, English, Journalism, or Communications
* Ability to read and edit HTML and CSS
* Experience working with CMS such as WordPress
* Experience with generating content around SEO strategy
* Capacity to prioritize, and execute a number of concurrent projects
* Strong writing, and editing skills
* Ability to quickly translate difficult technology concepts into simple communication
* Detailed eye towards putting content in correctly and following company's content formatting standards
* Project management and scheduling skills
* Microsoft Office
* Adobe Photoshop
* Excellent communication skills
