Job Requirements As the founding member of the front end team, you will be responsible for developing user experiences using client-side scripting languages and technologies eg. HTML5 & CSS3, PHP & MySQL and Javascript at a multi-million dollar business. You will work on the product hands-on to create HTML, CSS, JavaScript for client facing web application and web pages and making sure the user interactions and visual design ideas are correctly implemented. You need to have superior user interface skills with strong technical knowledge in current web and mobile development trends. You should also love creating new things and take pride in building out interfaces that delight customers.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in design and development trends from tablet, mobile, accessibility, site speed, etc.
- Ability to touch upon every aspect of the product creation from user acquisition, activation, retention and execute revenue generation strategies.
- Must be able to use Photoshop, with detailed pixel-perfect accuracy, implement them into strict, clean, well-structured JS/CSS.
- Work closely with backend engineers to apply visual design by modifying and adding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images on top of and around the code being developed.
- Apply the best design aesthetics under tight deadlines, while effectively managing trade-offs between business needs and customer benefit.
- Ensure that web applications work well across browsers and platforms, and advise the team on compatibility issues and tradeoffs.
- Perform cleanup of visual appearance and interactivity on existing pages to bring them in line with our UI standards and generally ensure that they are attractive and functional.
- Understand Interaction design and have a passion for usability and cutting edge user experiences. Fluent in mobile responsive design and understand how to effectively maintain media queries.
- MUST provide site list and code samples of web applications.

- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, and/?or demonstrated industry experience on similar successful projects
- 5+ years of experience in front-end web development in high traffic, consumer facing applications.
- Strong understanding of W3C best practices, performance, web analytic and SEO techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current on emerging technologies and best practices, desire to learn new technologies as they present themselves in the marketplace.
