Job Requirements Soap Opera Digest is seeking an intelligent, resourceful, soap opera genre enthusiastic editorial assistant with excellent communication skills to work in our NYC office. The qualified candidate must have an interest in researching and writing about soap opera related topics covering shows such as are Bold and Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital and Young and Restless - that is absolutely critical.

In addition the position involves:
-providing administrative support to the editor-in-chief, including managing schedules and invoices and handling general office tasks.
-responding to freelance queries, file, open mail and assist as needed with a smile!
-being able to work independently, meet deadlines and contribute compelling story ideas
-have a bachelor's degree and related experience (i.e., work on a student newspaper, an internship in the publishing industry).
