Job Requirements Cambridge University Press, New York seeks an experienced, senior-level editor to manage its distinguished publishing program in economics.

The successful candidate will have strong field and market knowledge expertise. S/he will have a minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated book and/or journals commissioning experience in economics or a related social science discipline, at a university press, textbook publisher, or commercial publisher. Working closely with the Press’ social science editors in New York and Cambridge, s/he will be expected to acquire content in a range of genres suitable for publication in print, electronic, and hybrid formats. Particular emphasis will be placed on the strategic development of the list through acquisition of major books, reference works, as well as textbooks and course resource materials aimed at upper-division undergraduates and graduate students.
