Job Requirements Cambridge University Press seeks an Acquisitions Editor for its high quality ELT/ESL print and digital materials for the English for Academic purposes markets. Primary responsibilities include identifying publishing opportunities and priorities, developing publishing proposals, commissioning new authors, setting and monitoring budgets and schedules, and championing new products from concept to creation.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ experience commissioning or editing EAP/ELT, Foreign Language, or similar educational products. An MA in TESOL (or other recognized TESOL/TEFL qualification) or ESL/EFL teaching experience, particularly in an academic/EAP context, is preferred. Candidates should also have strong organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and team spirit. Experience with multi-media formats and delivery (online, LMS, mobile, etc.) preferred. This position requires up to six weeks a year travel to campuses in the US and overseas.
