We are seeking a smart, resourceful, and responsible team member to assist with our growing business. The Public Relations Coordinator must have a strong knowledge of public relations tools (or related experience) and solid research, writing and editing skills. The Public Relations Coordinator must also have at least a bachelors degree and one to five years of experience. An interest in architecture and design is preferred but not required.
The Account Coordinator has the following responsibilities.
Client relations: • Participates in client meetings and conference calls, as needed • Conducts monthly activity reporting for clients • Researches, writes and edits press materials: • Conducts strategic research • Reviews editorial calendars on a regular basis • Responds to requests for information from the media • Contributes to public relations and marketing plans ? • Coordinates special events • Compiles media lists for clients ? • Maintains lists of media results for clients • Meets all timelines and deadlines
Assistance to the president and office management: • Maintains the firm’s database • Maintains the firm’s marketing materials • Maintains and updates the firm’s website, develops and implements social media strategies • Schedules meetings with clients and the press • Files and maintains all office materials, for the firm and for clients • Coordinates with the firm’s vendors • Maintains all business equipment • Answers phones
