We are seeking candidates for the position of Supervising Producer - Digital Media in Silver Spring, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY
Project and editorial lead on multiple TLC projects and TLC production teams in the creative development and production of video content, for Broadband syndication, internet, VOD, News, Mobile, marketing and ad sales.
Maintains the scope of work as determined by the Executive Producer. Ensure compelling user experiences. Accountable to deliver technical and content decisions for assigned productions based on Supervising Producer's scope of work.

Manages production resources, assets and staff on a project-by-project basis.

Creates and monitors milestones, schedules and budgets in tandem with Supervising Producer to ensure timely, current and cost effective productions.

RESPONSIBILITES
1. Handle DMG short-form programming including originals, lifts, cutdowns and reversioning as assigned. Includes developing production schedule, working with Talent Relations to select and coordinate narrator/talent, working with internal and external production resources, collaborating with legal, rewriting scripts, supervising off-line, on-line, narration record and mix sessions.
2. Create new content from original concepts, library material and Digital Media content. Create and review treatments, rough cuts, fine cuts, and other materials, under supervision of SP. Safeguard quality and accuracy of DCI brands and standards.
3. As assigned, provide on-location production services based on demonstrated skill and expertise level.
4. Coordinate special projects such as internal/external sizzle reels…
5. Facilitate program fixes (changes in narration, graphics, picture, and audio, as needed.)
6. For assigned projects, manage project production schedule for contract compliance and overall project workflow. Track deliverables and communicate fulfillment of production milestones, production issues or changes, to project team members.
7. Manage and distribute production delivery schedules, episode descriptions, and other relevant program updates using appropriate databases.
8. As required for assigned project, coordinate and communicate with other DCI departments.
REQUIREMENTS
* 3-5 years video/television production editing experience including short-form documentary or equivalent.
* Final cut pro or Adobe premiere
* Demonstrated skills and expertise in project and client management
* Demonstrated skills and expertise in production and post-production techniques
* Expert in Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and related post production tools
* Demonstrated skills and expertise in location video production
* Excellent Script and creative writing skills
* Strong communication, administrative and organizational skills.
* Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline environment.
* Knowledge of normal office software.
* Legal right to work in the U.S.
