Job Requirements Specific Responsibilities include:

Optimization (35%): Manage yield and revenue to meet or exceed growth plans for the Indirect channel
Strategy (25%): Develop new monetization strategies to maximize the value of Match Media’s indirect inventory
Account Management & Development (25%): Manage and expand existing 3rd party ad network relationships, and identify new ad network partnerships and new negotiate business terms
Partner Relations (15%): Preserve consumer experience on our sites by managing compliance with existing creative guidelines, ad latency requirements, and advertiser block lists


Basic Qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree
6 years total work experience
4 years work experience with display ad networks on Publisher side of business
Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills

Preferred Qualifications include:

Experience managing and growing external vendor/customer relationships
Experience trafficking display advertisements in DART / DSM, or another commercial ad server
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong negotiating skills
History of developing actionable, data-driven strategic insights
Excitement about industry developments and pursuing opportunities

Match Media is the advertising team responsible for monetizing ad inventory across the Match portfolio of dating properties. We manage ad inventory for all of our industry leading dating sites: Match.com, OkCupid.com, OurTime.com, BlackPeopleMeet.com, Chemistry.com, and more than 15 additional brands.
We are looking for an experienced leader to develop and deploy monetization strategies that will maximize the value of the more than 3B impressions per month that aren’t sold as part of our direct selling initiatives. In this role, ownership of our indirect ad channel blends strategic and operational daily activities that include: managing ad network relationships and contract negotiations, acting as the face of the indirect channel internally with key stakeholders, managing to yield and revenue goals, investigating new monetization tactics, developing effective RTB strategies, and protecting and enhancing the customer experience on all of our sites.
