| Job Requirements |
Handles design, full execution and trouble-shooting of brand-consistent electronic communications and related materials for Firm.
Designs and codes HTML emails from scratch and converts existing designs into HTML.
Handles design and production of Skadden-branded materials, including invitations (print and electronic) for client and law student events and related collateral; announcements; client-facing presentations, capabilities pieces and pitches; and other standardized Skadden-branded materials.
Ensures user experience consistency among the various email applications, web browsers and platforms (and troubleshoots as needed).
Must have strong typographic and layout skills; illustration, information design and multimedia design are a plus.
Full working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (especially PowerPoint & Word).
Ability to juggle multiple projects (each with specific audiences and set of objectives) in an organized and timely manner; and scrutinize work with tremendous attention to detail.
Strong grammar, punctuation and spelling skills necessary.
Must be able to take direction and constructive feedback from Design Manager.
Must possess the ability to work well within a team environment, offer new ideas and a fresh perspective
Shares best practices and fixes for electronic communications with rest of design team.
Flexibility to adjust design aesthetic and workflow to meet evolving Firm needs.
Candidates must have complete proficiency in HTML (heavy experience using CSS), Adobe Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with Outlook 2010 environment, InterAction and eMerge is a plus. Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field is required. Minimum of 3 years email production required. |
