Job Requirements The Director of Digital Ad Sales Development’s main responsibility is to maximize revenue by driving the Digital Ad Operations strategy, managing all digital ad inventory (WEB, VOD and TVE), identifying and building digital sales platforms partnerships, implementing the video ad serving platform to accommodate upcoming TVE launch and the associated campaign deliverables, and work with research to develop impressions estimates. Additional responsibilities are strategically determining the most valuable and effective utilization of all digital inventory on all four networks. This position will play a significant role in achieving goal and growing revenue on Digital/ VOD and Advanced Platform advertising.

The Director will work closely and build relationships with the Operations and Product Development team, Linear Ad Sales, Research, Digital Content departments and Marketing teams to ensure delivery of compelling standard and custom packages. Coordinate with Marketing on all digital marketing initiatives to ensure that they advance the business and are on brand.

This position will also have technical and marketplace understanding of current and future digital advertising products in order to develop inventory units required by advertisers and help the digital business take advantage of opportunities to develop our advertising models

OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THIS POSITION
1. Define ad operations strategy and drive implementation of video ad server for upcoming TVE launch
2. Optimally manage digital ad inventory to achieve and exceed stated revenue goals
3. Identifying and building digital sales platforms partnerships to drive incremental revenues
4. Develop and execute zoning and tagging strategies for the ad servers and Omniture
5. Work with research to develop inventory estimates
6. Work with On-Air Marketing on consumer promotions for all digital extensions
7. Drive initiatives to anticipate and capitalize on new product lines or advertising strategies
8. Focus on scaling content creation opportunities via both internal and outsourced solutions based on market trends
9. Partner effectively with management to optimize advertising monetization capability
10. Play a lead role in helping define organizational resources, processes and culture to support aggressive growth plans

2) Technical/Functional Competencies
a) 8+ years experience online advertising operations and inventory management (experience with Auditude/Freewheel preferred, but not required).
b) Strong understanding of online media metrics, analytics as well as internet business model processes and interactive marketing concepts.
c) Familiar with building customer relationships and cross-division team collaboration
d) Strong understanding of yield management.
