||AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for all circulation activities for Shopper Marketing magazine (18,000 controlled)
? Plan, oversee and direct all promotional activities designed to attract new subscribers and retain existing subscribers, including direct mail, telemarketing, insert cards, “outserts”, e-mail marketing, online marketing, and more
? Work with fulfillment company to manage subscriber file and prepare BPA/Ownership statements, ensuring BPA/USPS compliance of all marketing efforts
? Research and acquire prospects for new business campaigns.
? Manage marketing and promotion expenses
? Provide detailed competitive analyses
? Provide forecasts, as needed
Responsible for audience database (members, readers, attendees, advertisers, providers, prospects, etc) management, reporting and strategic development.
? Perform daily maintenance on all customer databases with accuracy and completeness
? Report on audience engagement for each product offering
? Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to increase the customer base and expand customer engagement across product platforms
? Perform statistical analysis of customer patterns and engagement to support product marketing, planning and market development
? Develop and implement new reporting and analysis around promotion metrics
Responsible for Email system and provider.
? Need to become “company expert”
? Work with provider to maximize email and print delivery and engagement within current communication strategy
? Assist in the management of providers to include annual evaluation and recommendations
Responsible for website audience development and conversion across all web offering (membership sites, marketing sites, destination sites, etc.
? Promote websites to customers and help to build a continuously growing audience for advertisers.
? Data tracking and reporting for company websites, newsletters and other web products
? Develop and execute initiatives designed to increase traffic, conversion and engagement amongst all web properties
? Apply SEO, SEM techniques
? Develop e-mail, online (including newsletter) promotions
? Build a community of users attracted to our forums, blogs, photo galleries, user profiles and more using partnerships, social media, and other tools.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor’s Degree preferred - Marketing, Business, or related field with a quantitative focus preferred
? Candidate should possess experience in business to business circulation and/or audience development marketing (3+ years)
? Experience in Database, Email and Online Marketing and/or eCommerce required (3+ years)
? Strong project management skills are required
? Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills
? Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and/or related database analytical tools
? Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing directives and priorities
? Exceptional attention to detail
? Effective written and oral communications skills
