We are seeking a VP/Group Strategy Director to join our Boston team.
The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for providing the inspiration from data-driven insight to yield ideas that will accelerate success.

A strategic thought-leader on key client engagements, in helping to impact brand, messaging and connections strategy
Research Ambidextrous - must respect, understand and flawlessly execute qualitative and quantitative methods

Key Responsibilities:
Fielding and managing primary research projects - including insight mining, creative testing and application of client-provided research to strategic and creative approaches
Applying insight to shape brand development and ideation
Catalytic idea, architecture, positioning, brand focus
Provide clear, compelling creative direction
Creative brief, messaging hierarchy
Using an array of syndicated research tools to enrich, define and understand the core target
Demographic, psychographic, behavioral, and attitudinal
Stay current and connected to popular culture
Trends, insight, and foresight
Be an end to end strategic sounding board, as part of the strategic development process
Creative, strategic, media, digital
Be a planning ambassador and mentor
Employ best practices, provide training and guidance
Key Role(s):
Liaison for all research activities
Contribute as a fully integrated member of client oriented brand teams
Provide brand planning support on new business efforts
Share, learn, and collaborate with other members of the planning team - in contributing to the collective wisdom of the group
Develop thought leadership perspectives, write papers, and blog entries in contributing to the intellectual capital of the planning group
Develop key partnerships with account management, strategic analysts, creatives, digital groups, and media teams
Four-year degree is required.
7-10 years brand & strategic planning experience required.
