Job Requirements BobVila.com, a growing site with one of the most recognized brands in the shelter category, is eager to expand its roster of experienced freelancers to contribute accessible, reliable service content on any and all things home. Though assignments are available as part of the planned editorial calendar, new ideas are always encouraged. Typically, BobVila.com posts run between 350 and 650 words, and the pay rate for such pieces is $100. The opportunity to take on more lengthy assignments exists; the rate for longer work is commensurately higher and established on a case by case basis.

If you're a talented writer who loves home design and DIY, we look forward to hearing from you! Note: A professional background in building is not required, only a strong interest in providing readers with the information they need to make the most of their homes.
