Job Requirements The Associated Press seeks an experienced eBusiness and Sales Automation Manager for its New York City Headquarters.

The Sales Automation Manager is a highly visible position and is primarily responsible for managing and executing data-driven lead nurturing, renewal, and retention campaigns through primarily digital channels – email, web, social communications, viral, display, SEM, etc – leveraging our CRM solution and SilverPop, a sales/marketing automation platform. The successful candidate will have proven experience with sales/marketing automation and the use of customer and website data in a B2B environment.

Responsibilities:

• Team with US and Latin America sales teams, in alignment with AP corporate marketing, to identify B2B campaign strategy and tactics that are supportive of and measurably contribute to sales objectives and defined sales processes.
• Pursue “long-tail” new and renewal business via eBusiness/eCommerce processes to scale the reach of AP sales teams.
• Establish “Sales Funnel” designs and processes that are market/customer driven and have clear commercial outcomes and metrics.
• Monitor, measure and review the performance of campaigns to ensure objectives are met, organizational learning and customer insights are captured to inform future campaigns, and campaign processes are continuously improved.
• Own the agenda and execution of sales process metrics and web analytics, delivering actionable market/customer insights and data elements to continuously improve campaigns and tactics.
• Enhance, evolve and improve the current CRM program, aligning sales automation campaigns with evolving sales processes and the 2013 Salesforce.com expansion.
• Team with eBusiness Director, Sales, Marketing, and Technology to enhance and evolve eBusiness, eCommerce, and CRM capabilities with both AP revenue and customer “Order to Cash” experience in mind.

Qualifications:

• 4 year college degree, MBA preferred
• 2-4 years demonstrable eMarketing and/or sales automation experience including data driven campaigns, drip and Sales Funnel marketing, within a B2B environment is required
• Experience with Salesforce.com (or equivalent) and SilverPop, Eloqua, Marketo, or Hubspot is required
• Experience teaming across functions and collaborating with sales management and sales teams
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Working knowledge of web analytics systems and Marketing/Sales reporting
• Basic HTML and familiarity with Photoshop
• Excellent presentation skills
• Prefer multi-lingual candidates
