As a Business Development Coordinator, you will sell advertising as well as event sponsorships, special projects and other initiatives throughout the year. You will also work with the team to drive nominations for awards programs. You will be required to attend networking events, set appointments and attain all revenue goals. You will be responsible for creating new business, as well as maintaining an existing client base. The ideal candidate must demonstrate high level of professionalism, competency working with C-suite and ability to sell across multiple product lines and platforms.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and prior sales experience. 300 phone calls or 60 successful phone calls per week and ability to set up appointments.

The right candidate must also possess the following qualities:

• Strong work ethic
• Persuasive
• Team player, work well in a close team as well as independently
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must be able to provide great customer service
• Must be detail oriented and have exceptional time management skills
• Must have proven track record of professionalism and successful project management

The Business Development Coordinator will work with the New York launch team to open this new market. You will work with C-level executives to help them grow their companies, through involvement with the SmartCEO community. Business Development Coordinator candidates must be adept at business development through a consultative sales approach.
