We’re looking for dynamic, fun, energetic, and enthusiastic people to join our rapidly growing team.
Architizer is looking for a Marketing Intern to work with us for the next three months to assist in producing the Architizer A+ Awards Gala, which will be the red carpet event of New York Design Week in May. They may also be required to support on our initiative for Ideas City and other special projects or design competitions.
The ideal candidate can tear through a lengthy todo list, perform administrative errands and generally just get things done. While we are the largest and fastest-growing online database for architecture, we’re still a small, scrappy start-up, and there are opportunities for smart, resourceful people to take on a lot of responsibility and walk away with some great experience. Aside from meeting VIPs from our amazing href="http://awards.architizer.com/about/jury/">A+ Jury of over 200 architects, designers, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders and the href="http://awards.architizer.com">A+ Award winners you’ll also be working with a small dedicated team and some of New York’s most respected institutions: New Museum, Municipal Arts Society, The Standard, NYCxDesign, & Black Frame.
The ideal candidate is an upbeat and engaged multi-tasker who is organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, adaptable, and has a passion for architecture and design.
Applicants should be:
- A ruthless do-er
- Curious, diligent, responsible, and resourceful
- Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic
- Team player with an ability to thrive in a scrappy startup environment
- Willing to take direction & feedback
- Able to talk knowledgeably about architecture and design
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating logistics for events
- Working through checklists
- Assist with various marketing initiatives and design competitions
Requirements
- Great interest in architecture, design, and related industries
- Based in NYC & able to work Mon-Fri from our Midtown Manhattan office
Bonus
- An undergraduate degree in architecture
- Proficient in indesign, illustrator, and photoshop
