Job Requirements Responsibilities:
Lead the development and day to day execution of the More vertical on Thrillist.com
Oversee the creation and submission of content for the More vertical that will build audience and engagement in line with target metrics set each quarter
Develop content ideas generated from a diverse set of sources based upon search and social trends
Coordinate the submission of content from in-house editors and outside contributors, and create original content on a daily basis
Use KPIís and traffic dashboards to relentlessly evolve and optimize content and workflow
Maintain a strong professional social media presence
Ensure a quality of content commensurate with that of Thrillist's eight years of Local coverage
Actively work with the Editor-in-Chief to innovate while staying on-brand

Qualifications:
A high level of editorial experience with a focus on menís lifestyle and/or entertainment content
A high level of online experience, with a particular focus on web based digital media publishing, SEO and web analytics tools.
Expert knowledge of effective online content distribution tools, including content sharing, link distribution and social networking.
Deep personal excitement for the newest and coolest products and services
Appreciation for the Thrillist brand and a desire to grow it
Organized and process-driven thinker
Positive, collaborative, self-starter with a track record of innovation, problem solving and the ability to work under pressure.
About Our Company Thrillist.com is hiring an editor to lead its More channel of fun, entertaining, social content, covering topics that range from sex & dating, entertainment and money to content that may very well defy categorization. The More vertical will also serve as Thrillistís laboratory for developing future verticals for Thrillist.com. The ideal candidate will have already proven themselves as a lifestyle / entertainment editor in digital media, and be either a section editor or an ambitious junior editor looking for a great next step forward in their career. An understanding of SEO and social media is critical. This is a chance to join the winning team in the menís interest space, and help build its future.
