Job Requirements We are offering an exciting entry level position and an excellent opportunity for the right person to gain a wide range of experience in a fast paced, growing and busy catering operation. We are looking for a hardworking, punctual, meticulous, and detailed oriented individual with strong inter personal skills. Catering experience a plus but willing to train. This position works directly with the catering manager and director.
Duties Include:

* Heavy Phones and Confidence in Answering Phones
* Organizational Skills
* Interacting with clients on the phone, answering questions, taking orders
* Perform general administrative duties
* Filling out daily operating forms
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Attention to detail is critical.
* Assisting sales manager with proposals, contracts, party details and client contacts
following approved parameters
*Strong ability to focus and follow instructions to a "T"
*Ability to complete projects within designated time frame
*Team player with a "can-do" attitude
*Ability to work under pressure
*Scheduling service personnel and vendors for events
*Assisting with sales research
* Putting together promotional packages and mailings
* Making cold calls
* Assisting with coordination of event logistics

Small unconventional office environment located in open layout that includes catering kitchen / delivery / prep and storage area. Office staff works closely together as a team in all aspects of events - from client contact, to menu planning to event logistics.
