||Modea is on the lookout for somebody to fill a highly tactical role at our growing agency. Somebody who is detail oriented and who lives, eats and breathes SEO and SEM. Somebody who soaks up the latest in industry best practices and trends. This person will be responsible for successful execution of strategic SEM deliverables recommended by Modea. The Search Engine Marketing Specialist will actively manage SEO and paid search campaigns for multiple clients. Additionally, this position will assist in supporting new business initiatives and ongoing research as well as the development and maintenance of processes, standards, and guidelines.

Manage small, enterprise-level SEO and paid search campaigns including strategy, implementation, execution, budgeting and campaign performance analysis
Perform tasks in support of SEO and paid search campaigns including keyword research, keyword taxonomy development and page mapping, competitive analysis, SEO audits, strategy development, search meta tag writing, page copy optimization, page optimization, domain and URL optimization, file naming structure, site map development, link building and management
Consult on technical issues affecting SEO like coding, site architecture, server redirects and mod rewrites
Provide guidance and recommendations to inform Content Strategy based on SEO needs
Provide SEO guidance in content development process (copywriting, video, blogs, etc.)
Perform SEO optimization for video, rich internet applications, social media , blogs, etc.)
Utilize and manage various search research, management and analytics tools including: Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Core Metrics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools, Raven, Google AdWords, Microsoft AdCenter, Marin, comScore, Compete, Alexa and various SEO tools
Define, monitor, and analyze SEO key performance indicators (KPI's) for continual improvement.
Ensure all team and Modea processes are followed and help improve processes
Analyze latest algorithm and search engine industry changes while helping educate clients and agency in SEM best practices & trends
Help foster cross-agency & team discipline relationships.
Collaborate with teams on landing page best practices in support of SEM campaigns
Work with Biz Dev on creation of SOWs and renewal needs
Assist with client on-boarding & discovery process
Ability to lead client calls and discuss SEO concepts and initiatives
Ensure all client deliverables are on time and within budget
Minimum of 3+ years of SEO and paid search program experience.
Strong preference for candidate with enterprise-level experience, global experience, B2B, lead generation and eCommerce.
Must possess strong campaign optimization tactics for CPA, CPC, CPL & revenue share models.
Experience in managing display ad campaigns including Facebook and Twitter advertising a definite plus.
Google Adwords Certification strongly preferred.
Must have experience using most of these tools: Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools, Marin, comScore, Quantcast, Compete, Alexa.
Experience using some of these tools: Core Metrics, Raven, AdGooroo, WordTracker, BrightEdge, SEOMoz, Covario, Acquisio, SearchIgnite, Kenshoo, Click Equations, Omniture Search Center a strong plus.
Strong understanding of site taxonomy types and role of taxonomy in support of site infrastructure.
Possess extremely strong Excel skills.
Strong math and account skills with ability to effectively manage disparate campaign budgets.
Strong presentation skills with ability to present complex material in an easy to understand fashion.
You must be authorized to work in the US at our offices in Blacksburg, VA.
