Job Requirements Women’s Health is currently seeking a sales assistant in New York City. He or she will support the Ad Director and the sales staff. The position requires attention to detail, organization, strong communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have an interest in sales, marketing and publishing in general.

Responsibilities include:

•Preparation and distribution of presentation information
•Conduct research on accounts and market trends
•Assist in the preparation of requests for proposal
•Craft regular correspondence with clients
•Work on special projects as needed and basis administrative tasks.


Qualifications:


•The ideal candidate will possess a college degree and at least one year of experience in a similar line of work in a fast-paced environment.
•He/she will also demonstrate solid organizational skills, the ability to multitask, a can-do attitude and the ability to be a problem solver.
•The candidate should also be highly detail oriented.
•Possess strong PC skills in database programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
