RESPONSIBILITIES
Editing and Writing

- Assign and edit columns on social media for lawyer and legal writing. Oversee the Letters page as well as write and/or edit news articles as needed for ESQ., California Lawyer's front-of-the-book, news and trends section.
Custom Publishing
- Coordinate and moderate monthly attorney roundtables (at least one a month, sometimes two)
- Edit the roundtable transcript for publication in a law-firm sponsored section of the magazine

California Lawyer, an award-winning monthly magazine, is read by more than 100,000 attorneys as well as judges, legislators, and corporate executives. Although we focus on California and the West, we have subscribers in every state. Our aim is to portray the most vital, controversial, and compelling aspects of the practice of law. Our primary mission is to cover the news of the world as it affects the law and lawyers, helping our readers better comprehend the issues of the day.

Part-time (24 hours a week)
