Job Requirements Disney Interactive is looking for a well-organized, strategic, motivated Sr. Media Planner to support the sales team with responses to requests for proposals (RFP) with Disney Interactive digital products including Family and Women, Kids, Gaming and Mobile. This position is responsible for following the sales cycle from proposal to contract execution by managing all the elements of the plan, revisions, specifications, and entry into agency templates or systems. The position works closely with internal departments to craft a creative and appealing plan to be presented by the sales organization. Frequently this person will have to prioritize tasks and work on several projects simultaneously. To be successful, this person must thrive in a fast paced environment and be resourceful, creative, detail oriented and capable of juggling multiple projects with limited supervision.

*Experience with Integrated (Multi-platform) pitches.

*In-depth understanding of interactive advertising industry, trends and key players.

*Proven expertise of the digital advertising industry including terminology and mechanics including Video, Mobile, Social Marketing and Social Gaming

*Organized, detailed and processes the ability to multi-task and prioritize for you and your team in a fast paced environment

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, especially Excel

*Expertise with a variety of 3rd party software required: Atlas, DoubleClick Suite for Publishers (DSM/DFP), and SalesForce etc.

*Working knowledge of rich media vendors required: PointRoll, Unicast, Eyeblaster, etc.

*Extensive knowledge working with all buying models including: CPM, CPD, CPC, PPC, CPV and CPA, able to provide guidance when requested on best solutions for pricing.

*Expertise of media planning targeting parameters frequently requested in plans: demographic, re-targeting, behavioral, geographic, etc.

*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required

*Strong analytical skills required and understanding of delivery metrics

*Excellent presentation and negotiation skills required

*Proficiency in PC Platforms required; Mac, a plus

*Self motivated to make process improvements to create operational efficiencies

*Ability to adapt, evolve and grow with the business

*Ability to effectively work in a matrix organization with many people at all levels to accomplish tasks

*Personal responsibility to work under tight deadlines and deliver timely and accurate work product using sound business judgment

*Passion for understanding and serving the unique Disney community

*Ability to communicate with diplomacy, tact, to build relationships with stakeholders and co-workers.

*Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience in digital media planning, buying
