Job Requirements THE JOB:

- Drive sales cycle from start to completion, including prospecting, presentations, negotiation, and close
- Collaborate closely with Fortune 500 brands to understand business goals and develop effective advertising campaigns
- Build and manage an active revenue pipeline of strategic accounts
- Demonstrate the unique value of Grooveshark's service and advertising platform
- Engage in consultative sales approach
- If you don't know the decision maker, figure out how to get the call or meeting

THE PERSON:

- Minimum 3 years experience in digital media sales and online advertising. Experience selling to agencies and brands is a requirement
- Proven record of success closing sales/business development deals with premium brands
- Strong network of strategic level relationships at digital advertising agencies and brands
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Experience developing account strategies for long term revenue growth
- Proven account management ability and desire to interface with clients both remotely and face to face to provide timely, consistent and accurate support
- Self-starter with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently

About Our Company Grooveshark is seeking a talented Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for the company's New York City sales territories. We're looking for an individual with a proven track record of closing business, building client relationships at all levels, and a strong understanding of the sales process and cycle. Major account categories to be covered include entertainment, consumer electronics, beer and spirits, and automotive. This position will report directly to the National VP of Sales.
