Job Requirements Purpose (Brief summary of why role exists):
To create highly engaging and impactful global brand experiences. Lead global events team from strategy through execution. Partner with many key stakeholders to create unique and differentiated events both B2B and B2C, in support of the Reebok brand goals and objectives across all key brand initiatives. Tell our brand story through events.

Key Accountabilities (List the 5-10 major areas of responsibility for role):
* Love of creating experiences that allow the participants to live, touch and feel the brand.
* Develop, champion & facilitate event best practices aimed at creating Reebok brand experiences that deepen engagement, understanding & drive relevance. This includes best practices for event format, agenda design, audience engagement, content, theme, activity selection, look & feel & any and all manner of experiential design.
* Spearhead short and long-term event plans. Partner with PR and Social counterparts to ensure on-going calendar is up-to-date and supporting comms planning and support is tied to each and all events.
* Brand Steward - facilitate a consistent interpretation of the brand (strategy, attributes, themes, messaging & creative) into event experiences.
* Build relationships with external partners to extend brand experiences into partner events and touch-points. Co-create strategy and plans. Deliver experience.
* Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (corporate officers, leaders of key corporate functions & SBU Heads, sales & marketing) to define event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organizations brand.
* Develop, manage & execute signature event marketing programs including twice yearly Global Marketing Meetings, product launches, PR events, Regional Marketing Meetings, & hospitality events.
* Identify opportunities to improve event delivery, developing new global engagement strategies.
* Support the event team with coaching, mentoring & development of staff by incorporating a strategic approach into daily event management work. Ensure all team members have the training & resources to carry out their responsibilities. Keep the event team focused and motivated to deliver outstanding events.
* Develop event reports and provide post-event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback.
* Work closely with PR, social media and internal corporate communications to ensure that events received optimal internal and media coverage.
