Job Requirements Job Description:

The E-mail Production Coordinator role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, production, management, and deployment of e-mail newsletters and advertising mail campaigns. The ideal candidate will have exposure to e-mail production, ad trafficking, project management and client services.

This position calls for a self-starter with a high level of conscientiousness and personal accountability. The candidate must also be comfortable working in a dynamic environment that fosters autonomy and demonstrate maturity and a positive attitude when faced with unexpected challenges.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the management of the e-mail process workflow including maintaining e-mail calendar, obtaining and testing creative, receiving timely approvals from advertisers and scheduling e-mail deployment
- Own, manage, and complete all daily e-mail responsibilities on schedule, including but not limited to, campaign set up and management (HTML), production, deployment and reporting.
- Act as the "go-to-person" for contacts within other departments (Advertising, Marketing and Sales).
- Assist with monthly tracking (open rate, click-through rate, opt-out rate, etc.) and financial reporting; analyze and present recommendations for e-mail products.
- Proactively identify areas of short and long-term technology and process improvements, which increase productivity, engagement and monetization of the e-mail product.
- Have a strong working knowledge of JIRA system and the Agile project management methodology.
- Deeply understand the nytimes.com audience and how e-mail can play a larger role in their web usage.
- Support Product Director and Associate Product Managers with the development of the product roadmap and strategy.

Requirements
- Exceptional computer skills, including demonstrable experience in HTML with ability to troubleshoot and a working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- College degree plus 1-2 years experience in e-mail production or account services.
- Strong customer service orientation, communication and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy daily production environment.
- Team player that actively demonstrates collaboration and cooperation.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- A good sense of humor.
