Job Requirements We're looking for a dynamic professional to execute, measure and optimize our marketing and public relations campaigns in order to drastically increase the traffic to our website and build our brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated person who gets excited about being able to utilize their skills and creativity to have an immediate impact on our company's growth. This is the type of position that won't be lost in the shuffle and will report directly to the Director of PR & Marketing.

As part of the PR & Marketing team, this person will help execute the overall strategy to increase traffic to our website, and keep BnBFinder at the forefront of guest, innkeeper and the media's attention.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop story angles and pitches for member properties and the BnBFinder brand and secure placements in print, digital and broadcast outlets

Write and edit company collateral including press releases, monthly newsletters, blog posts, articles, and website content

Cultivate relationships with industry professionals and traditional and new media to increase placements; keep updated database of media contacts

Manage calendar of press releases and pitches

Drive awareness of BnBFinder activity and extend reach through social media; leverage social media proactively for PR

Indentify opportunities for content partnerships


Qualifications & Skills:

Strong oral and written communications

Solid editing skills

Some experience developing story angles and pitching national, regional media

Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, goal-driven environment

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Creative thinker, resourceful and opportunistic

Self starter, strategic thinker who is self-confident, committed, enthusiastic and not afraid to take on a lot of responsibility in order to help manage our marketing and PR campaigns

Travel/hospitality experience a plus
Photoshop experience a plus
Cision and WordPress experience a big plus

Minimum Experience Required:

3-4 years of PR and marketing experience required
