Job Requirements The Sales Planning primary responsibilities include:
- Support Event Sales team in pre-sale efforts (participating on calls, providing clients with follow up information, etc.)
- Assist Event Sales team in the creation of effective, innovative sales kits and proposals
- Clearly understand and communicate client sponsorship objectives to BlogHer team
- Create new sponsorship contracts and work closely with Corporate Counsel on review process
- Collaborate with Event Client Services and Event Operations teams during development of sponsorship packages
- Research potential clients for prospecting as well as thoroughly researching incoming inquiries
- Organize and maintain sponsorship data used across teams

The ideal candidate will:

- Have strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Be able to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Have demonstrated ability to work with and speak the language of Event Sales, Event Logistics, and Event Programming
- Be inquisitive, innovative and interested in how things work
- Possess excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills with an eye for detail
