Job Requirements This is an ideal position for a talented, creative, and enterprising self-starter interested in helping to build a pioneering media company.

Responsibilities are as follows:
Identify, shape, and plan strategies for digital growth, including social, mobile, and video
Develop and cultivate new business relationships and strategic partnerships
- Source, develop and close sales with major client and partner prospects
- Sell sponsorships for small- and large-scale media programs
- Negotiate pricing and partnership structures
- Significantly grow revenue, client base, revenue, and brand value

This position includes a competitive base salary plus high commissions and an equity stake for the right person. The Sales & Business Development Manager will be a member of the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate is based in the New York City area, but we are accepting candidates from across the country. We offer a semi-remote work model.

- 4+ years of sales and development experience
- Proven track record of delivering on partnership and sponsored content deals with large companies
- Creative thinker and doer who will aggressively seek monetization opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who is excited about working in a start-up environment
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisions and manage relationships
