Job Requirements Summary:

Provide support to Development team and other internal departments to maintain external and internal websites, and to help increase online donations and site traffic by keeping websites user-friendly, search-engine friendly, up to date, and easily navigable.

Essential Job Functions:

Manage the websites - build and maintain web pages for Safe Horizon's main site, plus subsidiary sites (www.hopeshining.org; www.safework.org)
Research, recommend, and implement application tools for the website, emails, Intranet, eCommerce, social network sites, site search use, etc.
Ensure pages/forms are consistently coded for Google Analytics and Adwords use
Produce HTML coding for web pages, as well as meta- and alt-tags
Ensure web pages are functional and broken links are fixed or removed
Help produce and send monthly e-newsletters and special emails for both external and internal audiences
Develop new web applications, including forms, as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications
Maintain a company-wide Intranet, allowing data manipulation for each internal staff member.
Maintain and enhance existing web applications and all internal systems are integrated.
Perform complete testing of web applicationsunit and system, engaging users as necessary
Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results
Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing
Manage Convio and keep updated on developments of the donor software
Fully implement all Convio modules
Help maintain web servers
Video editing and posting to the website
Create and develop Flash movies
Provide creative input
Maintain style sheets for consistency and ease of editing
Provide regular reports on website usage
Test cross-browser use and ensure site is compatible (IE, Firefox)
Design banners, buttons, and mastheads
Communicate timeframes for projects and provide progress information
Maintain consistent webpage naming for best SEO results
Possess demonstrated work experience with at least one relational database management system
Provide assistance for IT and HR web-based projects as needed
Complete other duties as assigned and appropriate
Troubleshoot Internet and Intranet issues as they arise


Requirements:

Must have HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS, ASP, Dreamweaver, MySQL, PHP skills
Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash skills
Experience with Google Analytics and Adwords
Experience with Convio or with other online donation management software
Ability to meet deadlines and well-organized
Graphic design background
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple demands
Work well independently as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environment
Bachelors degree
Minimum of two years of web development experience
