•Strong verbal communication and presentation skills is essential
•Experience in report writing for senior audience is key
•Brings leadership and communication skills to develop and manage partnerships
•Ability to energize others to come up with innovative ideas and approaches
•Strong influencing and negotiation skills
•Self-starters- with the ability to take the initiative and lead projects
•Can- do attitude, with strong flexibility and creative approach

About Our Company We are looking for an aggressive, results-driven Business Development Manager for our rapidly expanding web-site. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and expanding commercial relationships. The development process includes ideas to generated revenue for the web-site, assist in ad sales efforts and developing business plans. Identification and support the development of new business opportunities to drive digital revenue growth. Work with operational and executive teams to understand how we can best influence and build our revenue activities. To assist in account management of new and existing clients, support the overall commercial activity and footprint of digital delivery for local and national markets. Current relationships in the media industry are a strong plus. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment is needed. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, math, or another field where he or she has developed qualitative analysis skills. 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred. Strong communication and computer skills needed. Some travel maybe required.

•Help identify new potential partners for revenue opportunities
•Manage lead generation and other revenue partnerships on a day-to-day basis, including tracking, testing and optimization. Seek out new partners and access the performance of existing ones
•Manage internal relationships
•Proactively develop and improve products and services
•Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues
•Understands clients’ needs
•Use analytics to track commercial performance of programs
•Recommend changes to our websites to maximize revenue, based on on-going analyses of our websites and of our partners’ and competitor’s websites
•Liaise with content, production and marketing to build revenue channels
•Ability to understand the competitive landscape and our site analytics to identify trends, issues and opportunities for growth
