We are looking for a unique individual with a knack for managing people in a deadline-driven environment. If you are looking for your next career move, consider this opportunity if you enjoy managing teams that work on various projects, such as: new company listing creation, company listing updates and other data research and collection initiatives. As a key manager, you will also be responsible for training, quality measurement and productivity analysis of your full-time staff. You’ll also participate in strategic meetings regarding streamlining processes, quality control, documentation and tracking improvements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Supervise and manage internal staff members and external vendors to ensure integrity of ThomasNet.com’s database of industrial suppliers:
o Manage ongoing editorial work to improve ThomasNet.com’s editorial content
o Provide feedback and coaching for staff to ensure job performance meets departmental standards
o Provide staff with appropriate support for problem resolution
o Monitor team productivity to ensure deadlines are met

2. Work with Director to scope new editorial initiatives, determine resource allocations and workflow processes

3. Establish quality control procedures to ensure work is completed to standards

4. Analyze data to monitor and manage team productivity and create data models, using tools, such as Excel and Access
