Job Requirements We’re seeking a Project Manager to work in our Oakland office to focus on the pre-and-post sale management and execution of custom online and offline programming experiences for key advertisers. The right individual will be accountable for understanding every aspect from the concept creation stage to launch and maintenance; this includes keeping the sales lead(s), sales development, Packaging, Artist Promotions and Partnerships (APP), Events, Product and Client Services teams on-track and on-time with all of their tasks and deliverables. They will also be a key contributor during the program development, establishing scope of work, budgeting and managing deliverables. They will also support the sales force and relevant support teams with pre-sale/post-sales communication during the entire campaign.
As the lead conductor of these programs, you will be responsible for the flawless execution of customized programming experiences that consumers love that meet brand objectives.

  • Take ownership of signed projects, managing and troubleshooting all aspects in conjunction with all cross-functional Pandora teams.

  • Understand and manage agreed upon scope of project from concept to delivery

  • Create project plans that set firm and realistic deadlines for each phase of the project.

  • Keep track of project development and communicate to all stakeholders to ensure visibility throughout the project lifecycle (via Internal Proposed Project Summary form) during the post-sale process.

  • Prepare weekly / daily / as needed status updates to all internal stakeholders

  • Day-to-day liaison internally (with sales and support teams) and externally (with clients) to communicate status, collect deliverables and establish timelines

  • Work with media planning and packaging team(s) to optimize and ensure proper structure of media plans throughout the campaign

  • Communicate with the team leads (Sales, Sales Development, APP, Packaging, Events, Client Services) on the list of priorities and tasks that need to be completed.

  • Help troubleshoot conflicts in terms of priorities and tasks, resources, and/or requirements.

  • When inefficiencies with processes are identified, help recommend and implement solutions

  • Decisive, clear, proven ability to lead teams and projects.

  • Communicate campaign insights and recommendations during and post-campaign, including the development of Wrap Reports (in close collaboration with sales and marketing) after campaign has ended.

Required Work Experience:
  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple internal client and external customer relationships

  • Comfortable making presentations to clients and agency partners.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong PowerPoint and Photoshop skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years experience working at a digital media company or digital advertising agency.
