Job Requirements The Mobile Marketing manager will be responsible for developing strategies and executing campaigns that will drive engagement/app usage and paid subscribers through our mobile website and iOS news apps. The right candidate must have prior experience driving downloads, app usage and customer acquisition, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

-Serve as primary liaison with the iOS mobile product team. Develop marketing requirements for new mobile products. Ensure marketing departmentís awareness of mobile product features and enhancements. Work closely with channel marketing managers to schedule and coordinate marketing activities. Manage updates to creative and copy on the iTunes Store.

-Develop and execute mobile marketing and communication plans? (Onsite and In-App Advertising, App-store Merchandising, Online Search, Social Media)? that will increase awareness of product features and benefits in order to drive app downloads, engagement and subscriptions for our mobile news products.

-Collaborate with various cross-functional departments across the organization including product management, technology, consumer marketing, customer insights, creative services and marketing operations to execute successful marketing efforts.?

-Lead mobile-optimization of marketing across the department. Inform on competitive insights, and best practices in order to maximize results.

-Execute all activities in a timely and accurate manner including status reports informing key groups and stakeholders of marketing activity.? Track and report on campaign performance and analyze sales, conversion, and retention to understand effectiveness and ROI.?

EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum 5+? years marketing experience.?
-Bachelor's degree required.? MBA strongly preferred.?
-Direct Response Marketing experience in a B2C environment required.?
-Proven track record of success growing mobile app users and subscribers.
-Must understand iOS app technology, metrics, and 3rd party integration.

-Understanding of Apple guidelines and restrictions in-app, in the iTunes store and in external marketing

-Exceptional critical thinking, especially in business modeling and analytics, with the ability to leverage insights to draw sound conclusions and recommendations.
-Strong project management and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and persuasively to senior management.
-High degree of initiative and results orientation with a strong attention to detail.
-Self-starter who sets priorities, takes on new projects and drives deliverables to execution with full accountability
-Poise, maturity and interpersonal skills to deal professionally and collaborate across functions and internal stakeholders
