Job Requirements Cambridge University Press seeks three (3) Senior Editors to drive the continued growth of its journals in the U.S. market and to maximize their contributions to the Press. These newly created positions will be responsible for researching, identifying, evaluating, targeting and acquiring journals and related products in the US market. In addition, these positions will develop new launch journals and products; manage a portfolio of journals in order to maximize their performance and effect change by reflecting developments and initiatives within the journals program. Two of these positions are on our Science, Technology, and Medicine (STM) team, and one is in our Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) team. Ideally these positions will work in one or more of the following areas: STM: Public Health/Life Sciences, Psychological Sciences and/or Earth Sciences/Engineering; HSS: History, Linguistics, Economics, Area Studies, Politics, and or Economics. We are open to exploring related areas as well, so please feel free to specify any other area that you're knowledgeable and passionate about.

The ideal candidate will possess senior level editorial experience, as well as experience in editorial content acquisitions, society relationships, and editorial staff management. Experience and/or a graduate degree relevant to STM or HSS are preferred. Candidates should also have strong organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and team spirit.
