Job Requirements The Sr. Director of the East Region will be responsible for building strategy and implementing tactics to produce revenue, meet and exceed annual targets, and lead a team of 8+ Account Executives in the East region. This person will report directly to the National VP of Sales. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in digital ad sales with key relationships at both the agency and client level in NYC.


* Primary responsibility is to meet and exceed revenue goals of display, mobile and email POPSUGAR ad products in the East region
* Manage and oversee all sales activity in the East region. Currently this organization consists of 8 AEs and 2 Sales Directors
* Meet and exceed bi-annual revenue goals
* Work with the National VP of Sales to identify and implement a territory strategy to reach and exceed revenue goals
* Take on marketplace leadership role, interacting with senior level executives at both the client and agency level, attending and representing POPSUGAR at local events and evangelizing POPSUGAR to the market at large
* Train, motivate and guide sales representatives to achieve their highest potential to reach and exceed revenue goals
* Work closely with internal teams to facilitate interactions between multiple parties for product development, market feedback, account development, and revenue optimization
* Partner with National VP of Sales to set target goals, account distribution and territory growth expectations for the region
* Provide hands on/ground level knowledge to National VP of Sales and executive team to help facilitate business decisions for the region, the sales organization, and the company

Desired Skills and Experience:

* 8+ years' experience selling online media in the East Region with at least 2 years' experience as a sales leader
* Experience in the women's media marketplace
* Proven success working in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive, motivated problem solver with ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
* Team player with ability to work independently
* Bachelor's degree
