About Our Company The Interim Manager of the Digiday Content Studio will manage Digiday’s sponsored content operation from mid-August to Mid-November, during which time they will be responsible for conceiving of, coordinating and executing sponsored content campaigns for Digiday and its partners.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in writing, reporting and storytelling, understand the digital media and marketing industry (including advertising technology) and experience managing freelancers and working with a sales team. They will be: creative, detail-oriented, flexible and an excellent writer and editor.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Work with existing and prospective clients as well as sales department to help brainstorm content ideas for Content Studio clients around verticals including mobile, video, social media marketing, etc.

Manage production of special branded content series by assigning and scheduling stories, managing freelancers and clients to ensure content is produced, edited and posted in a timely fashion. Series may include written articles, video, twitter chats and more.

Schedule and execute all promoted links.

Edit and traffic all sponsored content inclusions.

Work with marketing to support Digiday events with e-mail, social and content marketing.

Supporting the Digiday Content Studio by authoring blog posts supporting its mission.

Manage production of Digiday’s Insights product, an ongoing research and intelligence product due to launch in July.

The interim manager will also be responsible for campaign tracking and reporting, social scheduling and sponsor fulfillment on editorial special series.
