Job Requirements Summary:
The sales and marketing support specialist will provide sales and marketing support for the MediaDC revenue team. The winning candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of administrative processes and procedures for the department. He/she will report to the Vice-President, Advertising Sales.

Position Responsibilities:
The sales and marketing support specialist will perform a wide range of duties as detailed below.

Answer telephone calls related to revenue-generating operations
Direct calls to the appropriate revenue team member
Draft, proofread, and edit routine correspondence
Support revenue efforts by providing background research for presentations, and sales collaterals
Produce documents such as instructions, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports for revenue department

Filing and information management:
Maintain tracking records and filing systems
Maintain and update sales databases or spreadsheets
Perform data input, data collection and research
Retrieve information or documents from databases and the Internet

Further duties:
Responsible for media kits, specifically their printing, collation, and distribution to clients upon request
Email screenshots of digital advertising to clients
Print and mail advertising invoices;
Helps VP for Advertising execute events for clients in coordination with Senior Marketing Manager who serves as the principal liaison for events;
Print and collates sales presentations, sell sheets and other sales collateral at the request of sales staff;
Log appointments for the sales team and the VP for Advertising, and assist with travel arrangements, reservations and other meeting-related activities
supports the sales team in other ways at the discretion of the VP Advertising.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience and should be proficient with Microsoft Office.
