Job Requirements Phoenix House is seeking a Web Manager who will be responsible for tactical, detailed management of our website and support of our other online properties. S/he will play a crucial part in the day-to-day functioning of our site, ensuring the success of our online metrics, Search Engine Optimization, editorial program, and content updates. The Web Manager will have the opportunity to be involved in managing a major redesign of our website and coordination with various support vendors. This position is within our Marketing & Communications Department and has visibility to the entire organization.

Successful candidates will be digital and technological savants—exceptionally imaginative, collaborative, and truly excited about our mission to inform, connect, and serve those in need.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE:
• At least 5 years’ experience in digital media and online marketing as a Web Manager/Producer of a notable online property/organization, preferably in the healthcare space

• At least 4 years’ experience with SEO/SEM

• At least 3 years’ WordPress experience

• Experience writing or managing content around the subject matter of substance abuse treatment and recovery preferred. Passion to learn and integrate oneself into the world of treatment and recovery

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Understanding of diverse online audiences and platforms with the ability to customize promotions and programming to reflect interests

• Previous experience working in organizations to navigate cross-functional relationships collaboratively and efficiently

• Ability to establish and maintain partnerships that require creativity, negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and orientation towards solutions

• Knowledge of treatment industry trends and competitive landscape

• Capability to continually optimize content and experience through new tools and features
