Job Requirements XO Group Inc. — a lifestage media company including The Knot, The Nest, and The Bump brands —seeks a full-time, Sales Development Marketing professional to join our National Sales Team to brainstorm ideas, develop revenue-generating and integrated sales programs and craft compelling brand marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will be an extremely creative, organized, detail-obsessed, self-starter with a passion for everything digital and a solid knowledge of print. The ability to juggle multiple projects yet stay calm under pressure must be part of your DNA. Primary Responsibilities:

-Conceptualize unique, targeted campaign ideas in response to RFPs (including sweepstakes & contests, custom rich media, digital apps, advertorials, tailored print executions, video, social media, etc.)
-Create succinct, yet creative PowerPoint decks and/or comprehensive Word documents that address client benefits
-Partner with sales teams to develop & package comprehensive advertiser programs that will drive revenue
-Assist in the writing, execution and updating of brand materials/sell sheets and copy for sales pitches
-Lead special advertiser/marketing promotions which may include events, emails, newsletters, mailings etc.
-Collaborate with individual sales team members and research to identify category positioning needs, educate on best responses, and reinforce marketplace standing
-Work with design team to set priorities and manage work flow of various projects and assignments; keep track of timelines and communicate them with stakeholders on a project-by-project basis
-Interface with internal teams including editorial, PR, etc. to keep informed of latest news and update sales development team

Specific Skills and Abilities:

-Clear & compelling creative/marketing writing and presentation skills
-Excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills—able to manage all assigned projects and meet deadlines
-Obsessed with everything digital…from Facebook and Twitter to iPhone apps and YouTube
-Creative and proactive in suggesting new marketing materials & programs
-Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including editorial, creative services, -PR, tech, etc.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Solid knowledge of online research metrics

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree
-2-5 years relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising or other related field
-Experience producing client facing materials and proposals, specifically responding to RFP’s
-Must be a strong writer
-Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
-Strong references required
