Job Requirements Essential Job Functions:
-Providing project management support ranging from requirements definition, statement of work generation, implementation and transition to post implementation support teams.
-Manage all Business Intelligence projects and be subject matter expert in Market Intelligence reporting, Marketing Analytics and overall business.
-Strong management of client and internal stakeholder expectations
-Solicits business requirements in conjunction with affiliates, development, IT, business analysts, client services, technology specialists, market intelligence, external vendors and other functional groups.
-Develops project plans, project charters, communications plans, risk plans, contingency plans, lessonsí learned post implementation reviews and other associated documentation.
-Plan, identify, evaluate and communicate project risks using risk management techniques, develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
-Tracks projectís critical path, tollgate reviews and performance benchmarks as identified by PMO guidelines.
-Actively tracks the work efforts of business, technical, and quality assurance resources through daily management of the project plan.
-Develops project documentation; analyzes and reports on project status, monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables and content to clients.
-Evaluates the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation continually improving the project infrastructure.
-Actively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions with affiliate stakeholders and publishing services functional teams.
-Maintains relationships with affiliates, project stakeholders, client services teams, project team members, managers, vendors, and other departments.
-Gathers input and feedback and reports to executive leadership team.
-Responds and resolves affiliates operational issues as applicable throughout the implementation and deployment phases.
-Collaborates and communicates with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross functional project initiatives and activities.
-Coordinates QA software testing processes as required.
-Diagnoses project issues eliminating obstacles that jeopardize the completion of projects on time and within budget.
-Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of project based estimating techniques, resource planning and allocation methods, activity based estimating, budget and cost estimating, WBS development and scope management.
-Responsible for adhering to change management procedures incorporating a formalized change control process ensuring that changes to project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources are formally defined, documented and approved.

-Bachelors Degree Required
-5-7 yearsí experience in project management
-Formal Project Management training a plus
-Previous Business Analyst experience preferred
-Experience with Business Intelligence initiatives and projects
-Working knowledge of both practical and theoretical aspects of project management
-Intermediate to advance knowledge of Project Management tools and Microsoft Office suite
-Knowledge of publishing industry and Advantage software application
-Strong project planning and process improvement skills
-Ability to function in an agile project environment

About Our Company The Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of the project within the Publishing Services organization. This includes successfully managing up to twenty projects at one time including enhancements within our Business Intelligence division. The role includes managing all aspects of the project including requirements gathering, coordination with project stakeholders, monitoring/controlling, and implementation. The project manager must ensure that the specific projects are properly aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the Project Management Office. This position reports to the Director of Project Management.
