Job Requirements The Campaign Outreach Project Manager is responsible for developing campaign collateral in support of AARP's national and multi-state advocacy goals. The Campaign Outreach Manager will use internal and external sources to develop a continuous stream of engaging content, including photos, videos, graphics, infographics, and data visualization that advances AARP’s advocacy goals.


Responsibilities
•Develop a constant stream of collateral for AARP advocacy social media channels that engages members and the public in achieving stated advocacy goals.
•Coordinate all featured content on advocacy-specific online and social media channels including photos, videos, graphics, infographics, and data visualization for the purpose of driving advocacy actions.
•Ensure messaging and content are consistent with and integrated into campaign approved internal/external messaging.
•Generate original campaign artwork upon request including modifying existing content for appropriate use in digital channels (e.g., email, Facebook and YouTube)
•Use available metrics and social media channels to test content to identify most engaging and relevant content for achieving campaign goals.
•Liaise with and facilitate projects between agencies and vendors who provide advocacy content.
•Assist with maintaining reports on community elements and creating reports on a monthly basis (and ad hoc reports as necessary) to describe community activity and growth.
•Monitor performance of digital marketing campaigns and website usage, setting KPIs, reporting on performance and using data to inform subsequent activities.

Qualifications
•Must have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Art, or related field and 3+ years graphic design experience. Agency or corporate environment, and online design experience preferred.
•Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
•Graphic design skills to create artwork and copy for social media channels.
•Strong proficiency in Mac and PC platforms for file manipulation (Microsoft Office Suite).
•Photography and video creation/editing experience.
•Must understand (and will ideally be an active participant on) all things social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn).
•Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the proven ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously with multiple audiences.
•A portfolio that illustrates digital graphic design work and writing samples will be required.
